8U Rules

Two cross ice games per session
Players should wait until the rink is set up to get on the ice
Each game will be 4 on 4 with goalies
No warmups
2 - 24 Minute Halves per game
2 minute halftime
Line changes every 2 minutes on the buzzer
Each team will have a coach on the bench
Teams for each game will share the bench on their side of the ice, but enter and exit out of their own doors
A different player will play goalie each half as decided by the coaches
Each game will have at least one referee
Penalties – Penalty Shots
No offsides or icing
Faceoff at the beginning of every shift
No faceoffs after goals
Scoring team should back up to the middle of the ice
No faceoffs on a puck that is covered by the goalie
Scoring team should back up to the middle of the ice
No change of directions between halves
Referees will be keeping score
